Während die Hamas heute ihren "Widerstand", die Hingabe ihrer Zivilbevölkerung und die gelungene Entführung preist, dabei versichert, nie die weiße Fahne hissen zu wollen, schreibt Israels Außenministerium am Abend:

Shabbat is a day of peace, but the citizens of Israel will spend it in shelters, hiding from Hamas rockets, much like in the previous weeks. It's been 25 days since the beginning of operation Protective Edge. During this time over 3000 rockets were fired at Israel and Israel Defense Forces uncovered dozens of terror tunnels which were dug in order to carry deadly attacks against civilians in Israel.
